I'm friends with a Girl that tried to ruin my reputation.?

Me and my friend got into a terrible argument and disagreement. But some how we became friends again because I love having her as a friend. Even though she told one of my biggest secrets to most of the school out of anger.But she never apologized but some how we just decided to put the past behind us. But yet I still think about all terrible things she has done to me even tough I was the one that caued most of the drama. But I think she was talking about me behind my back first. But anyway my mom said that I was stupid for becoming her friend again. But I know no to tell her anything personal anymore. Should me and her remain friends and develope a stronger friendship or no??
