In need of a new series!?

Hii! Okay, so I have just finished The Hunger Games, and really enjoyed most of the trilogy! Another series of books that I am addicted to is Harry Potter. I really like books that have strong male and female characters, filled with adventure and action, has romance, and over all has a great plot. I absolutely hate vampire stories, so please do NOT suggest those(: I cannot remember the genera of the Hunger Games, but whatever that was I really like it! Could you please give me some idea's for my summer reading list?
