Should I take my laptop to florida on a 3 day trip?

usually I can't live without my laptop each day but i was thinking of not bringing it because I wanted to enjoy the trip. I will have my ipod touch and my digital camera so I thought maybe that might be enough. Also I heard room service tends to steal stuff left in your room.
