What do you think of movies like Asylum's "18 year old virgin"?

granted this is a parody movie, but its not all that different from other movies of the genera. Its a sex comedy about a nice girl being talked into giving up her virginity at a party and her ending up in several close situations before finding a nice enough guy to be with. I thought I would like the movie, but I didn't find it very funny. Actually it bothered me for some reason. I've been thinking of that movie and similar ones since I've watched it, and I believe more that, at a younger age, that sex should be a meaningful time and transition in life. I've learned in college courses and from people the other side, that it is all biological, yet I still feel it is wrong to be drawn into that situation. What is your take on these situations, on these types of matters? Am I strange for thinking this way? I'm an 18 year old, male, college.
