Would a Journalism Job (magazine, website, etc) allow stretched ears?

So I'm deeply considering getting piercings and stretching my ears to no more than a 0 and possibly a size larger. If the whole band thing doesn't work out (I don't need any advice about that...), then my career is down the path of journalism. I was planning on being a video game journalist, such as IGN, GameInformer, etc. Do those kind of places (video game/magazine journalism in genera) allow stretched ears? If so, whats the maximum size? If not, then I will just do journalism like that of AP Magazine where they accept it :) Also, any journalism policy on tattoos?
